Montclair Gallery & Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty are proud to present Yu Ding 丁煜. Napa's most beloved shutterbug is a former photojournalist in China. Originally from a small town, she relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area 20 yrs ago. She is an award winning celebrated photographer who captures special moments of landscapes.
As the Art Curator for Montclair Gallery, Herman Chan has produced over a dozen exhibitions and delivered many successful sales for artists. A San Francisco Bay Area native, he holds a Mass Communications degree from University of California, Berkeley along with a certification for Art as a Global Business from the Sotheby's Institute of Art. He speaks English, French & Chinese.

Where is the Gallery located?
Montclair Gallery is located at 1986 Mountain Blvd, Oakland CA 94611 in the charming Montclair Shopping District in the Oakland Hills.
When can I visit the Gallery?
Montclair Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday 9-5pm (excluding holidays). Private appointments also available with the Art Curator
Can the Gallery appraise my artwork or artifacts?
While Montclair Gallery does not appraise art, we have a connection to the Sotheby's Art Auction House. Our Art Curator can put you in touch with the appropriate department for art appraisals or auctions.
Do you ship art?
Unfortunately, the Gallery does not ship art at this time. All sold pieces are picked up in person by the buyer.
What kind of art does the Gallery showcase?
We exhibit original art in 2 and 3 dimensional form. Painting, drawing, photography, digital, printing, and mixed media are eligible. Video art, film, performance art, jewelry, and crafts are better suited at other galleries. We do not show reproductions of original pieces, such as giclées.
How are Artists selected to exhibit at the Gallery?
Our Art Curator is always on the hunt for both new and established artists from local art fairs to Art Basel. Contact Herman Chan for submission guidelines. Be prepared to provide online portfolio, any social media, resume, and artist statement if possible.
